Holy crap.
I never knew him personally, but someone I was good friends with dated him for a long time. That is a very sad thing to hear.
I don't even know what to say, or think.

I remember you mentioning that.
On his blog there had been some intimation over the past few months that he was having medical problems, but it was pretty vague. Apparently a lot of insiders knew the deal, though.
