Go for it! And I agree with Lon. No need to do into debt to take a class here and there. Continuing Education is usually at a lower tuition rate.

Also, check your local historical society for tips on free and cheap history classes and reading groups in your area. If you don't need Credits, you can sometimes find cool stuff like that to scratch your history itch.
