Oh, I have a bunch of these in my back pocket.

I really wanted to hear Sinead O'Connor sing "River Deep, Mountain High" backed by Husker Du.

Swamp Dogg should do an album of John Prine covers backed by the Dap Kings.

PJ Harvey should do an album of 70s blues rock - like "Whipping Post" and "Bellbottom Blues" with SRV. But no changing the gender on the lyrics.

The Pixies should cover their favorite Black Francis and Breeders songs.

Tom Waits is actually a huge Missy Elliot fan. He also loves Prince. Put 'em in a room together and don't let them out until they've cut a track.

(Prince has actually cut tapes of himself playing with Larry Graham and Ani Defranco. Prince also jammed with Miles.)

Brian Wilson arranges songs by Teenage Fanclub as sung by the Posies.
