When I heard her comments about the pronouns in LHoD, I immediately thought that yeah, that was something that inhibited my experience of the book. But I don't know what the solution would be, really.

I'm going to try to find the rest of the Hainish books next, I think. I might go back and read Rocannon's World before City of Illusions.
