Welcome back to having equal expression in the Senate. Seriously, how was this allowed to go on so long?

We take our elections pretty seriously? Minnesota law is such that once there's a challenge there are three in-state levels of appeal, and it took this long to get through them all. In some ways it's a very good system, in that no one can reasonably say they haven't gotten a fair hearing. But I sure hope the legislature seriously considers a runoff system for the future.
