91. The Non-Adventures of Wonderella: Everybody Ever Forever by Justin Pierce.

92. Hide and Seek by Ian Rankin. This is the third Inspector Rebus book I've read, and I think the novelty of the setting is wearing off. I'm not sure I think these books are very good; at the very least they're not very memorable. This one concerns the slightly mysterious death of a junkie, a dead-end occult angle, and some convenient new high-class connections for Rebus. All in all it's kind of a mess. It's a quick read, though, which is at least part of why I read this stuff.

I like the series--the TV series, I should say--but that may be due in no small part to the fact that Rebus is played by John Hannah.

That was epic. It doesn't matter that the Yankees will probably sweep their exhausted asses. That was amazing.

Also unrelated to Ian Rankin: I see that you're on the cover of LOCUS this month!

I wasn't aware there was a TV series. Looks like Hannah is only in it for four episodes? Might have to check that out, though.

I am! They also put me on the inside, where I said stuff that is probably not very interesting. Still, pretty cool.
