I love Arendt. My favorites are: Between Past and Future, The Human Condition, and The Life of the Mind. Oh, and I also liked The Promise of Politics, though it rehashed some of her other stuff. Actually, once you get a little ways into her writing, you end up rehashing some of her subject matter from other books that some readers may not have read so that they can play catch-up with whatever book they jumped in on. I started reading her in 2006 when I got back from Japan, just picked up Between Past and Future on a whim, and became addicted.
