Darker, bloodier, and more enjoyable than the second book; Collins pulls few punches here, though I think Gwenda is right that the ending undercuts much of her polemic. I ain't gonna lie, at a couple of points she took steps that had me pretty shook up. Overall, a strong finish to a strong series.
