It depends completely on whether this is someone impeding my way. I work in the Gattaca Complex, known for its escalators of doom, and so unimpeded I can do an escalator very fast because I like to pretend the evil operators of the future are in pursuit and so I leap up them. People make fun of me. But I am a SPY!
