Pretty freaky indeed. Actually... you know how sometimes really severly autistic kids will pull their hair or bang their heads or otherwise try to do themselves injury? When I see that, I always wonder if maybe that isn't exactly what I'm feeling during those "twitch" episodes. Just a whole lot more of it at once.

He's not inured to it now?

No, he's really not. Though he may have unconsciously picked up on the fact that I do it more frequently when I'm bottoming out.

(He also thinks it's funny/weird when I suddenly start go from silent to jabbering about some total non-sequitor... and then five minutes later he realizes that I'm responding I'm to a conversation we had three days ago.) (C'mon, three days ago? Practically instantaneous.)
