Oh, no, I never thought you were rude. Honestly, you were one of the people where I couldn't figure out why you (and Kirstin, and possibly others but you're the two I remember) missed me at last Wiscon. I have no problem with myself missing people who I don't know very well/long, but I find it very confusing in others when they miss me--you just met me! How could you miss me?
