I am awed by the colloquial abilities of those scientists.

The saddest duckling story you will read today.

Is it wrong of me to be thinking about how good some Duck a L'orange would taste for dinner?

And you have to love the concept of a rat spill and the containment thereof.

It is an interesting take. I just don't see how they can expect to make any headway; has there ever been a successful reversal of a bio-invader like that?

Also, gruesome imagery: "A lot of the birds you find, the only parts the rats eat are the eyeballs and the brains."

No. You know they're just going to end up introducing arctic foxes and totally screwing up that ecosystem.

[identity profile] snurri.livejournal.com 2007-10-04 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. Either they're going to wipe out all but a few of the rats, in which case they'll rebound in a year or two, or they're going to do more damage than has already been done. Or both.

Uber-rats! Rats that are immune to rat poison and can fly!

I knew this would happen. Mrs. Frisby was right!

OMG NIMH!!! They're just doing reconnaissance for the invasion.
