Nebula Report, Preliminary Condensed Version

I did not win a Nebula, but I got to give a speech anyway.

To clarify: I lost the Best Novel award to Ursula K. Le Guin. This will go down as one of the proudest moments of my life, because I can't think of anyone I would rather lose to.

The winner of the Norton Award was my pal Ysabeau Wilce, and as she was unable to attend I had the privilege of giving her speech and hanging out with her pretty award for a while. Yay Ysa!

I am also very, very pleased that John Kessel won the Neb for his novelette "Pride and Prometheus." Very well-deserved.

Congrats to all the winners and all the nominees, and hello to all the lovely people I was able to spend time with. It was a whirlwind 48 hours, and there is much more to tell, but right now I am going to bed.
