Rachel Maddow On the Modern Anti-Abortion Terrorist Movement

This video is a couple of days old, but it's a great encapsulation of what has been happening for years now.

And another video on the current state of abortion services--remember, this is a legal procedure (and as Dr. Wicklund notes in the video, one of the most commonly done)--across the country. (This video is rather crappy, sorry; I can't seem to embed the MSNBC code.)

As Rachel says, what's most maddening about the intimidation and violence is that it seems to be working.

I think the anti-abortionists are pushing women with unwanted to fetuses to the traditional, biblical method of dealing with this sort of problem: carry it to term and then abandon it somewhere to die of exposure.

No kidding. I had a pro-choice bumper sticker on my first car, but didn't get another one when I got a new car. Tired of having my paint scratched.

Of course it works, Duh.

Sorry, that was kind of insensitive of me.

Eh, you're right, though. Any campaign of this sort that's allowed to continue more or less unimpeded is of course going to have an effect.
