I'm not one of those people that gets into the holiday mood. Perhaps it's too many years in retail -- but last weekend I listened to "Merry Christmas (I don't want to fight tonight)" a bunch of times.
In fact, whenever someone says Merry Christmas, I respond with a big grin and then grumble, "I don't want to fight tonight."
On the other hand, I love giving gifts. Maybe I'm more of a "Happy Holidays" person. And I love winter but know enough people who hate the cold that I understand the need for a holiday at the end of December...but retail is nutcased this time of year.

nihilistic_kid showed me Art School Confidential and Ghost World is a longtime fave. Is it as good? (Crumb, on the third hand I guess, creeped me out. I was better off thinking "Oh that wacky Crumb" than knowing he was just drawing the story of his life and then feeling sorry for him.)
