I haven't seen Darkman or Serenity (although Serenity is next on my Netflix queue.) I wish I hadn't seen the two Star Trek movies (or any episode of any series), but alas. Star Trek IV made me want to punch a whale or William Shatner or both.
Repo Man is a great movie, but it's not a geek movie.
The Fifth Element is a lot of fun if you're not expecting a great sci-fi movie.
Shaun of the Dead had such a great first act but never really took it anywhere interesting.
