I just can't get behind this list. While Repo Man and Brazil happen to be in my top 5, I thought the Matrix was derivative Cliff's Notes nonsense, and Dark City couldn't hold a shot for more than 3 seconds. And no Blade Runner?
I'll watch the Fifth Element, though. It's not genius, but sometimes I'm just in the mood for live action Heavy Metal comic/movie (Stargate is also good for that.)

I thought Dark City was alright, but the spazzy camera work kinda spoiled it for me.
And I'm not saying Stargate is one of my favorites-- I think it's a perfect example of a great premise/terrible execution film.
