* Oh. My. Tonks.
* I think Dumbledore vs. Voldemort tops Gandalf vs. Saruman, at least on film.
* The Order of the Phoenix itself is cooler on film than in the books; more superhero-y, more mythic, more shadowy and mysterious.
* Mad-Eye Moody = awesome.
* I'm kinda bored with the pointing-wands-around-like-guns thing.
* I think the books are too much of a living text for me to separate the films from them, if that makes any sense; I see them as companion pieces rather than separate works. Having said that, I can't imagine that anyone who hadn't read the books could consider any of these films great, or perhaps even good.
* I like that Sirius is simultaneously the best and worst guardian for Harry to have, and I still hate that he died.
* It still amazes me that there are a dozen actors in this film that could carry a film on their own, and yet none of them are the leads. Radcliffe, Grint, and Watson (I'm totally going to use that for a legal firm in a story someday) better enjoy it while they can.

In other movie news, the trailer for the new Wes Anderson flick, The Darjeeling Limited, is up. Yay! It looks better than the last one, anyway . . .
