Supposedly Mark McKinney of "The Kids in the Hall" is on the Studio 60 staff. I'm not sure if that's a good thing, considering his amazingly unfunny stint on SNL. But I agree; they should hire some actual sketch writers, both for the show-within-the-show segments and for the dialogue itself, which is often clever but rarely funny.
I love that you used Gabe Kaplan's material. You are so going to be a toastmaster one of these days, if I have anything to say about it. Bwah-ha-ha-ha!
