I am so glad to hear this, because I my relationship with Nicola Griffith, such as it is, is that she is "someone you vaguely know and are somewhat in awe of, as I am of Nicola Griffith". I've been in her house, but she wouldn't know me; I adore her writing. And I bought this memoir some time ago. I guess it's time to bump it up in the TBR pile.
