Mumble Herder

The thing about the Secret City is that whatever you write about is absolutely absorbing. And the vignettes seem to be circling against greater cruxes of the plot, like complicated snowflake designs around invisible centers - The mayor, the black tower, others. I like how things appear again and again, although not always, and often obscurely, like figures emerging from the mist.

I like the sense of mystery.
