Me too, and I am not sure it's healthy. It's especially tempting after a dumb attack--and after hearing people say how you can be smart in some ways (already, read deformed) and have a dumb attack. People don't consider that a smart person may remember it and do better next time, provided they're not too crushed for there to be a next time, and medicalizing it runs the risk of the latter option. These diagnoses tend to be self-fulfilling prophecies.
