Is it Monday? It feels like Monday. Apparently a New Year started yesterday or the day before or something. I was sleeping, so I missed it.

The Republican field as Buffy villains. Short, yet perhaps the most brilliant thing you will see today.

There is a woman here at work who won't shut up. I had to put on the jazz because even though I came in in a great mood she was feeding my urge to kill.

I was thinking yesterday that my teenage self would think that my present self was incredibly boring and lame, but I'm cool with that. I think my teenage self was a total spaz.

I'm writing again, since yesterday. Bet you didn't even know I'd stopped.

Yup, I keep thinking it's Monday too. And then happy when I realize it's not. Over and over again! I feel like Tom Hank's 'Short-Term Memory Guy' in that SNL skit....

What skit?

The Buffy villains thing--freakin' hilarious. Unfortunately, I wish we had the Buffy villains running instead of the Republicans. A huge snake-god that we could blow up if things went wrong... it has a lot of appeal.

Amen to that.

The cluelessness of most Sunnydale residents is eerily parallel to the American voting public, too . . .

This is probably the most something I've seen all day.

I wish someone had interviewed the dog for that story.

I'm sending that to my mom. She was crazy pro-Huckabee for a day, before I sent her some stuff on his views on abortion. She was only into him in the first place because he "looked presidential" and won that debate, but admitted he looked like Nixon ... what?

Yeah, I don't get why he's getting so much enthusiasm. He's the craziest of them all, as far as I can tell.

I like teenage spazzes, myself.

My teenage self would be too self-righteous and self absorbed to pay any attention to my current self whatsoever.

I like them fine when they're not me.

I think teenage me wanted a bit more adventure. Not that I'd mind a little bit more of that, myself.

I don't think my teenage self would be pleased with my current self at all. Actually, thinking about how disappointed my teenage self would be is kind of depressing, so I think I'll stop.

I'm not trying to depress you! Here, think about something else: prairie dogs! Um, at a town meeting! Discussing zoning changes! No, that's depressing. Prairie dogs going to the circus? PRAIRIE DOG MOSH PIT.

Why thank you. I love prairie dogs. How did you know?I even have a painting with some in it -- well, I know they are prairie dogs, no one else seems to.
