A few Winter Carnival pics, belatedly. Most of them didn't turn out, being as it was night and I am a suck photographer. HOWEVER I did get a shot of the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District's latest capture.

Date: 2008-02-23 02:30 am (UTC)I see you are not familiar with the domesticated mosquito, Culex industrius, which is used on farms to haul hay and in municipal street cleaning operations. Once in a while they do go rogue, though. You should see the birds they bring in to handle those.
