Weirdly, I feel much more secure somehow knowing that Obama would actually say "fucking." Like, it gives me permission to really believe in the Everyone chill the fuck out, I got this! poster?

Whereas I am positively gleeful at the hint of further unseely shopping revelations! Personal shopping with staffer credit cards, oh my!

I also really liked the intimation that Obama was apparently the one who didn't want to make a snap judgment on Hillary as veep.

What I love about Obama is that, aside from the fact that the man has a stirring and charismatic public face, he's also a guy who leads with brains and not ideology. God I've missed that.

I am alternating the giddiness with fresh tears of joy, because I'm bipolar like that.

I think that's not so much bipolar as parallel-polar? I'm sure we'll crash soon enough, but right now I'm skipping from happy to happy as well.

Obama dropping the F bomb! Not so praiseworthy, but I love the context and the admission of irritation with the media.

And this: "[Axelrod] liked Obama in part because he could see that the candidate was unusually intelligent (especially, in his experience, for a politician coming out of the Illinois Statehouse)..."
