I had dreams last night that my feet no longer touched the ground, so I quit wearing shoes. I was carrying a baby, not my own. We weren't in danger, but I had a responsibility to keep the baby safe as I walked through an empty city. It was warm, and the streets were narrow. Someone--it might have been the baby's mother--was with us, walking just behind.

I don't have a heckuva lot of use for Gretchen Wilson (if "Redneck Woman" was an attempt to evoke country nostalgia, they could have done better than Charlie Daniels and Hank Jr.) but she really belts it out here: she's covering "Barracuda" with Alice in Chains backing, and you could swear it was Ann Wilson her own self. Check out Nancy on guitar. I can't listen to this without thinking of IROC-Zs, torn jeans, and mullets:
