Life:

Got to see Alan, Kristin, Haddayr and Lena last night, which was awesome. Staying with the parents is not bad, but it's weird. I'd gotten more used to living alone than I realized, and living in the house with three people is sort of disorienting. Like, I wake up and I'm surprised they're here. Only a few more weeks 'till I'm in my own place again.

Books:

My copy of Always, Nicola Griffith's new Aud novel, just arrived from Madison (er, that was supposed to be "Amazon." Shows you how much I'm looking forward to WisCon). As it is a rainy day, I will likely have most of it read before bed.

Comics:

This was Whedon week, for sure. Buffy #3: not quite as good as #2 but it was nice to see Willow in action. Runaways #26: Molly RULZ! Nothing more need be said. Astonishing X-Men #21: I don't want to say anything spoilery, I really don't, so I will just say I can't think of another figure in comics that I more wanted to get naked. (I am Beavis. Fear me.) In non-Whedon comics, World War Hulk is starting and I figured out why I'm so happy about that. It's because, after the whole Civil War thing, I would really like to see someone beat the hell out of Reed Richards and Tony Stark. Doc Strange and Black Bolt, I'd rather they go easy on, but with those two it's catharsis.

Movies:

Nothing. I haven't even seen "Hot Fuzz" yet, dammit.

Memes:

Spider-Man is NOT Creepy!

You Are Spider-Man

Quick and agile, you have killer instincts (literally).
And that kind of makes up for the whole creepy spider thing.

Yay! Can I put you in charge of finding out when and where? Or do you not know any better than I do yet?

Yay, Always! I loved it tons, as I do all her books, and put it up for the next round of the LBC. I hope you like it so you can show up and help discuss it, cause I bet a lot of the members do NOT dig it.

Well. Some of them. Some of them I find unreadable, which I suppose is your point . . .

You Are The Hulk
Super strong and super scary, you were never meant to be a superhero. You're not really into saving the world. And the world better get out of your way.
