Standing and Sitting and Sleeping For You

snurriLife has been busy, hence I have been a bad blogger.
ITEM: WisCon was wonderful, but exhausting. I always need a few days to recharge afterwards.
ITEM: I moved into a new apartment over the weekend. There are books everywhere, and I despair of finding a place for them all. I'd post pictures but it's all boxes and books and Itsy-Bitsy Spider-Men.
ITEM: My sister is getting married in two weeks, and her wedding is acquiring mass and velocity such that the entire Midwest may be consumed by a singularity of beef tenderloin, floral arrangements and taffeta.
ITEM: I leave for Sycamore Hill in two days, and will be gone for a week. Communication will be sparse during that time.
ITEM: I've received my editorial letter and copy edits and have set myself a deadline for turning that back around.
ITEM: Haddayr Copley-Woods and I will be reading at Dreamhaven Books (912 West Lake Street, Minneapolis) on Monday, June 18th at 6:30 P.M. I'll be reading my story from Twenty Epics, the one based on my Norwegian bachelor great uncles, and Ragnarok. Y'all should come! We'll go get some beers (or other beverage of your choice) afterwards.
ITEM: I have been catching up on Deadwood and my language is getting a little fucking salty.
ITEM: The post title comes from a song by The Wrong Trousers, who make me love the future. (Via Haddayr and Karen.)
