I decided to test it for the presense of non-extinct females, though there aren't really that many non-extinct males. I'm up to 50, and not only have there been a number of people I've never ever even heard of, the only non-extinct person on it is O'Neil, though there were at least some non-innane females--Janeway, River, Zoe, Kaylee. Oh, wait, I suppose Starbuck isn't cancelled yet, so she'll count. Even though she looks like she's in gym class. Still, women are sadly under represented as a whole, along with hot boys.
That's a big quiz. It's cool that they have that many possibles, but yeah, not so cool that the ladies are underrepresented. Although I think if you looked at the casts of the big SF TV/Movie franchises, there are probably lots more men than women.
I haven't seen the new Galactica yet. One of these days . . .
