Hey, this is fun, deconstructing a comic. Actually I thought the top two sets of frames were very funny. I just didn't get the last line. It seemed anticlimactic. I mean, are they brother and sister that they have the same letter from their parents? And in this day and age, with parents practically pushing their kids to go into art, I just don't think parents are still trying to get their kids to be doctors and lawyers nearly as much as they're trying to get them to be rock stars and fashion designers. I got the feeling that these kids are not artists and then the last line makes more sense. But I don't know that because there's not enough information. I just think that the top line was very funny and the menu was great. The strip could have ended there and been very satisfying for me. Am I thinking too much about it? Are comics supposed to be anticlimactic these days? Keep in mind I use a rotary phone.
