I have seen three women's pictures and three men's. All of the women are smiling, and none of the men are smiling. Do men fear the smile, or are women just hiding behind theirs?

I don't know about anyone else, but I think I look like a doofus when I smile. At least, in photographs I do.

Smiles are not static in real life. I find that, as a photographer, it is tricky to catch the moment of a motion that seems true even when it is stopped in frame.
