Bush's approval rating has finally dropped below Nixon's; his disapproval rating is the highest ever. Amazing that it took this long.

BTW, if you're tired of me posting about politics all the time, believe me, so am I. I'm supposed to be working with my head down, polishing up a novel, but my anxiety over the election is riding pretty high, and I doubt I'm going to be able to concentrate much on other things until after this is all over.

Whatever we think of either candidate, I can't think of a bigger mess to walk into as president. I'm surprised either one of them wants it anymore.

Mine too. I kind of feel like my journal has been hijacked by politics this past month and a half and the worst part is it's all my own doing.

Oh jesus, I have about fifteen posts backed up that are pretty much just me linking to something and going, "YES!!!!" or, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

It's part of the reason so few posts have appeared. Although I think eventually the dam will break and I'll summon Youtube in to take over my LJ for a week or two...
