You've gone into hysterics over your fear of the black oil, haven't you?

Oh, the hell with the black oil. Nobody watches X-Files for any other reason than Mulder's tight little ass.

Bwah-hah-hah-hah!

Although I prefer Scully's, um, tightness myself. Mm, Gillian . . .

Sorry, I'm, ah, a Robert Patrick girl, myself.

OMG.

Funniest thing in the history of funny things. And maybe also the internets.

I should be kept under guard in an airless glass case, yes. Many thanks for the kind words, all.

Why, when I was in X-Files, we didn't even have words like "manpain" and "emo"! We just had forty year old men weeping bitterly like preteens, and we liked it!!

Really, I am just sorry that vocabulary was so slow to catch up to experience -- manpain is such a useful word! Also, I think to be considered BEST evar, there needs to be a shocking lack of punctuation. And mixing of tense within a single sentence. And I think that story needs about 1500 more words about how wonderfully luscious Agent Mulder's lower lip is. (Double points if ye canna spell "luscious," and triple points if you work in a mention of The Glasses.) Really, Mr. Dan Kelly! Falling down on the job, here!!

I have several candidates for best fanfic evar, and one of them involves scary hyperevolved evil overlord cats. That is not even counting the one where Alex Krycek turns into a unicorn.

I think he's got the tense-mixing down:

After looking longingly at each other and after Mulder soul-kissed Xander, Scully finally said somethign to Mulder who she was talking to while in love with him

I refuse to believe that there is fanfic where Krycek turns into a unicorn. No! I won't hear it!

How about Agent Mulder in fur shorts, as he battles mastodons?

How about the brothers in Supernatural, turned into sisters?

And then there's Stargate Atlantis, where somebody turned the main slash pairing into:

A) cookies
B) penguins
C) sociopaths
D) dolphins
E) ALL OF THE FREAKIN' ABOVE.

Mediafandom: there's nothing we won't do.

Fear is not AWESOME. You'll have to get over that. Possibly by reading more fanfic.

There are many difficult and frightening tasks I am willing to attempt in the name of AWESOME, but a deeper foray into fanfic is not one of them.

All for you!

Now, if it were Black Canary/Oracle slash, I might be convince-able . . .

As I recall, the fur shorts were also available in illustrated format.

Just. In case you wanted. To try them on for yourself.

I know I shouldn't even ask, but . . . were they Bermuda-type shorts? (Tell me they weren't fur Speedos.)
