So, yup. Today is the day. I have been, frankly, nothing but anxiety for the past few weeks, but today I am feeling pretty Zen about this whole thing. It's not, after all, as though I have a lot of control over what happens from here. (Although I know that my Dad is going around to every bookstore in the area and facing it out. You rock, Dad.) All I'll say is, the first couple of weeks' sales are crucial, so if you're thinking about maybe buying the book at some point, maybe you could think about buying it like, now. Just a thought :-)
A couple of links: Niall gives the book the sort of thoughtful review that makes all of this worthwhile; Annalee at io9 gives the book a shout-out. Also, apparently the book got a major plug in the magazine PiQ which I have never seen but which I love.
A reminder, too, about the reading on Thursday at Dreamhaven: 7:30, 912 West Lake Street in Minneapolis, be there or miss it. Here's the bio I gave them:
Go on now, little book. Make me proud.

David's secret identity is known only to the Saint Paul Curling Club, the Shadow Hanseatic League, and a hyperintelligent squirrel named Chester. Because of the need for secrecy he hand-washes his costumes, and fights crime only when it is convenient. Authorities estimate that his short stories have caused as much crime as they have prevented, and do not recommend tugging on his cape.
Go on now, little book. Make me proud.
