On a few occasions recently I've found the idea of going back to school for another degree wandering through my head, upon which I have pounded said head against the nearest brick surface.

But man recently the idea of studying history for a couple of years has seemed really appealing.

WTF IS WRONG WITH ME.

This guy is right; there's no need for it to be for a degree.

I'd go further and say why not just study yourself?

Ignore all these other people supporting your desire for another degree.

Exactly what I was going to say. The good thing about college is (hopefully) it taught you how to go out and study things on your own.

I am, of course, reading history all the time. But, ya know, people don't usually hire based on "What books have you read?"
