Archaeology! Ancient City Found in Mexico! Village Discovered Near Stonehenge! Police to Reunite! (At the f*&%ing Grammys. Now I have to watch the Grammys. Someone kill me.)

Warren Ellis subjects us all to shares an excerpt from Jeff Lint Steve Aylett's surreal parody comic "The Caterer." SMOOTHING THE CHEEK OF REALITY HAS ITS DANGERS!

Hannah links to the poem "Library" by Albert Goldbarth, which turns out to be awesome.

I have discovered that, along with those annoying ads along the side, I have been given the power of polls. Bwah-hah-hah-hah!

Here's the thing. I am, by most objective measures, a fairly geeky person. But I find that many things which are considered more or less core geek loves drive me up the wall. Perhaps you are also somewhat geeky, and encounter this same phenomenenonon. This poll is for you!

[Poll #917082]

Also, I'm surprised Veronica Mars isn't included on the poll. (Running!)

Although I personally do not find it overrated and don't think you do either.

I did think of it. But I suppose I didn't think it was geeky enough.

Thus revealing your geekiness! It's at least as geeky as Alias.

Is not! You really think so? But it's a detective show. It's not a gadget-of-the-week boobfest with an overarcing prophecy/steampunk plot that makes no damned sense.

I don't know what you're talking about. I am the picture of innocence over here.

Give it time! We've still got several episodes left to go this season!

I could do without the gadgets and the prophecy/steampunk angle.

The rest, I guess I could deal . . .

Donut's miracle baby: THE CHOSEN ONE
And how *did* Keith know where to find Veronica on campus when she wasn't carrying her cell phone?

See what I mean? Prophecy and gadgets. It's all in there.
