The upside of this is that it pretty much publicly confirms what we've known all along, that Libby was taking a fall for his bosses. Bush has admitted this by pardoning him, so he can please his shrinking base. It only adds to the sense of republican corruption and cronyism, and it'll hurt them in the long run.
Actually, your post is probably why I shrugged when I heard about this. Less me being numb; more me nodding in approval as the Neocons spiral around the drain.
